Forged from the context of creating beauty out of tension, this eclectic mix of young musicians offer their own unique musical upbringings to craft a new sound that can only be described as audiophilia! The nu-jazz/funk offerings of Joel Gustafson (bass), combined with the thunderous beats of Ryan Craig (drums), form a rhythm section of undeniable groove. The vivid layering of Alex Cooper (keys) and the smooth melodies of Curtis Monette (guitar/vocals) conceptualize the idea of harmonious composition. The intricate percussive accents and silky crooning of Kailana Baldwin-Francis (percussion/vocals) round out the delicate balance of rhythm and harmony. audiophilia's initial efforts have yielded great success and the band has developed a sound that is both danceable and memorable.
